in high school, my jazz band director was a little cross-eyed. it took a while before i figured out how to act while talking to him. it was especially uncomfortable when we were being reprimanded for something. which was pretty often. anyways, i got used to it eventually. today i realized that my contemporary islam professor has the same optical predicament. i noticed as i watched as this girl stand awkwardly, eyes fixed on the floor as she went up to her after class. i went up next, calm as fuck. looked her in the eye(s). and asked my question.
